Watch waiting room screens and look out for newsletters and information in reception towards the end of September. Deliveries of the vaccine tend to be end of September or early October but this varies depending on the manufacturers. There are groups of people; everyone over 65 and people with particular conditions who take priority and they are invited first, patients are usually sent a letter asking them to make an appointment. The practice tends to offer a couple of Saturday morning clinics first as they can see literally hundreds within the one day so this helps avoid other routine appointments being used. We usually have 3000 or more patients to invite so it can be a slow process to get through everyone, patience is appreciated.
